LG TV connection failure

Hi,

 

I just started up Emby since i'm no longer happy with Plex. 

I created a server on my PC, and want to stream my movies/series on my LG TV. 

 

However when i try to connect to my mediaserver, i get a connection failure error.

I've already tried everything which is stated in following guidelines: https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Wiki/wiki/Connectivity

 

I even ported my modem, and the port is not blocked? So i really don't get why the server will not work on my LG TV? 

Can anyone help me out?

Yes, i can connect via my iphone with no problem at all.

Via the Emby application on my smart TV. It detects my server's name when i put in the pin code which is prompted on the screen, but when i try to connect it, i receive a connection failure error.

@@JensWillems, what happens if instead of the pin code method, you try adding the server manually into the LG app?

Then it can't connect to the server. It says it doesn't find it.

What exactly did you enter into the server host name field?
