Creating own Plugin: Format for metadata and poster?

Hello,

 

I am working on a plugin for emby. This Plugin scrapes info from a site and I have a question: which format emby accept the metadata and poster and where to upload?

Because emby doesn’t provide any api to upload.

A sample data file to upload on bulk would be great.

It sounds like you should be writing a metadata provider plug-in.  You might want to look at one of the existing ones to see how that is done.

I am not planning to publish this plugin as it is scraping info from my own site.

 

Where/How can I look into the exisiting ones?
