ryan8382 0 Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Sorry if this is listed but I would really like to see Comskip working through MB3. In a perfect world it should work on any place the show is being watched.
Tikuf 663 Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 You cannot even begin to comprehend how difficult this would be slicing and dicing while transcoding streams. My opinion is that you would be better to run it on the files in your recorded tv folder with an automated tool.
mentasm 43 Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 Use MCEbuddy. I have it rip the ads and convert to MKV to save some space then move them to a folder in my library
ryan8382 0 Posted October 6, 2014 Author Posted October 6, 2014 I understand its not easy but still possible. Just show the commercials that are detected would be fine. As for MCEbuddy i don't like having it create a new file as i with just using comskip i have to shut it off because it will cut the show content. I don't want to deal with that.
arrmo 6 Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 Hi, Was there every any more on this? With Windows 10 out now, I have moved to NextPVR, really like how it plays back with comskip info - would be nice to have this also in Emby. Thanks!
Bert 49 Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 This can be accomplished using dvrmstoolbox... Have mce buddy only move and rename and have dvrmstoolbox scan the renamed files... It's not ideal but works
arrmo 6 Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 Sorry, slow to reply ... To clarify - I already have the comskip output, in the same directory as the file. I'd like to see Emby play it back like NextPVR ... using the comskip info. Is this possible? Thanks!
