I'm running debian and upgraded as directed.

Emby doesn't work at all now, I see others posting similar issues, but there doesn't seem to be a definitive answer on how to recover from this.

Hi there, can you please describe what your issue is? Thanks !

I upgraded emby to 3.5.1, rebooted, emby-server wasn't working.

So, I tried the beta 3.6.0.2 - rebooted, still nothing.

When I visit http://localhost:8096 it says "Emby Server is loading. Please try again shortly."

the service appears to be running:

● emby-server.service - Emby Server is a personal media server with apps on just about every device.

Can you please attach the emby server log? thanks.

It keeps making new log files every few seconds, it seems.

I just purged it with dpkg and re-installed/reconfigured.  Seems OK as of now.

Ok, the unhanded errors in your log were related to the dvr schedule. I was going to give you a one time fix you could do to stop it from happening but if you reinstall then you're good to go at this point.

I will make sure this is resolved for the next release, thanks.
