Tried sorting movie collection by revenue - now I just have a blank screen and no movies showing. Can not get back to sort menu to, sort by date, etc tried uninstalling app and reinstalling, still shows blank screen in movies section but can see movies elsewhere (ie, by Genre, search...)

Please help!! How can I reset sorting/filtering??

Can you explain what happens when you navigate to that page in your library? Maybe provide a screenshot?

Thanks!

This section is from navigating on the AppleTV app (cannot provide screenshot):

AppleTV 4K > Emby app > Emby Home screen > Library > Movies > All

Normally there is a filtering and sorting option there (sort by date added, filter by unplayed, for example) -

After selecting Sort by Revenue, the screen is now completely blank in the All section of movies - all other Movies sections display content (Suggestions, Favorites, Genres, etc) how can the sorting and filtering options be reset? Normally sorting works fine, by date, rating, name, etc.

Thanks

Ill do a bit of investigating and see if I can repeat the issue as it may be a bug.

These settings are stored on the server and I’m not aware of a way to reset the preferences other than deleting the user.

What version of the server are you running?

Thanks!

Revenue is a defunct property.

I thought we took this out already but, perhaps it hasn't been released to production...

Thanks for checking it out - that’s right, I don’t see Revenue as a sort option on the iPhone or iPad apps, only on tvOS. Perhaps if it’s removed in a future update my content will come back in that screen without deleting the user :)

I know we removed budget but I don’t recall revenue being part of that as well. I can remove it but I’m not confident it’ll bring that view back.

Ah, that is what I was remembering.

This needs to go too and the app will need to be resilient to an unknown sort value.

Yes I’ll take a look tonight and see if I can recreate this issue and make it handle it appropriately.

I've found the issue and we'll get a fix out as soon as we can.

Hey @@tyranocore --

We just released a new version today (1.2.13) that should resolve the issue. If you force close the app and restart it you should be able to view the All Movies section of the library now.

Let us know if it's all set.

Thanks!

Unfortunately the section remains blank even after the update - no content shown and no Sort or Filter buttons shown. Could some time of “reset” display or sort preference option be added to the Settings section of the app?

Can you confirm that you are running the most recent version of the application please? The version number is listed in the settings section at the bottom.  I did quite a bit of testing around this scenario so I'd be surprised that it wasn't fixed.

Also, what version of the server are you running?

Confirmed running 1.2.13 on AppleTV, and 3.5.1 server - All Movies section still blank since attempting sort by Revenue.

Thanks for reporting back (and being patient)! I'll take another look this evening and see if we can get another fix out for you quickly.

We just pushed a new release (1.2.14). Can you give that a shot?
