ormon 0 Posted July 21, 2018 Posted July 21, 2018 I'm a plex user but wanted to give Emby a good try. I just installed it this morning and was trying to setup the live tv section. I have the HD Homerun with ota antenna but when I click on TV Guide Data Providers and choose either Schedules Direct or XML Tv it goes to another screen and displays 'Could not find file '\dashboard-ui\components\tvproviders\.template.html'.' Is there something I need to download or is my install borked? Thanks
Luke 42083 Posted July 21, 2018 Posted July 21, 2018 Hi, what platform are you running the server on?

Luke 42083 Posted July 21, 2018 Posted July 21, 2018 hi @@ormon, yes on a fresh install i can reproduce this, but only when coming out of the startup wizard. We'll get a fix for this into the upcoming 3.5.1 update. For now, the best workaround is simply to close the web app and then open it back up again by visiting: http://localhost:8096 Or of course, using the windows tray icon. Please let us know if this helps. thanks !
ideatrade 0 Posted July 22, 2018 Posted July 22, 2018 I am having a similar issue. Fresh install. Same error as above. I can watch live TV but there is no guide or way to record shows.

ideatrade 0 Posted July 22, 2018 Posted July 22, 2018 Hi there, apologies for this. Please see the workaround I mentioned in the previous post. Thanks ! Thank you for the quick reply, You mean using the http://localhost:8096link? That did not help. When I go to refresh the guide it takes about 3 seconds then stops. Zero guide information Screenshot https://i.gyazo.com/f66f8c0c61576e1d91199decb3aaea12.png I reinstalled, channels load fine. Rebooted etc. Can't seem to get the guide to load at all.
Luke 42083 Posted July 22, 2018 Posted July 22, 2018 Did you select a lineup in schedules direct setup?
ideatrade 0 Posted July 22, 2018 Posted July 22, 2018 Did you select a lineup in schedules direct setup? I double checked, and yes it is.
Luke 42083 Posted July 22, 2018 Posted July 22, 2018 Did you try using the mapping tool to confirm that we were able to map your tuner channels to the guide data channels?
KingKoopa08 17 Posted July 23, 2018 Posted July 23, 2018 @Luke So you know also the Simultaneous stream limit doesn't save either right out of the wizard. You can save it then reopen and it shows 0. Once I refreshed the url then made the change and saved it actually saved it.
ideatrade 0 Posted July 23, 2018 Posted July 23, 2018 Did you try using the mapping tool to confirm that we were able to map your tuner channels to the guide data channels? That was it, got it working. Thank You!
