Emby Server - Configurable Chapter times and preview on hover

It was brought up in a different way on another topic, but I wanted to create a separate feature request.

 

It would be nice to have an option to configure the amount of chapters extracted. Right now, chapter selection is difficult because you can never seem to find the chapter to skip to based off the current preview of each chapter. Increasing the number of chapters would help in selecting the scene you would like to skip to.

 

Along those lines, I also think it would be beneficial to have a rolling preview of the chapter when you hover over a chapter image. This could be an option instead of increasing the number of chapters as it would give a preview of what is in that chapter instead of guessing off a static image.

 

I personally have plenty of processing and storage to accommodate any amount of data that would come from this, so a consideration may be to have these options with an enable/disable toggle

I think this would be great, and having the chapter thumbnail images be based on a .bif file or something similar like the Roku thumbnail plugin uses.  That way the images can be moved around with the library and not need to be regenerated or live in some ghost AppData folder.

The two features will eventually just be combined into one.
