Hi all,

 

I don't use my Roku stick much, but was getting it set up for some vacation travel. For the first time I put the Emby app on it, and connected it to my server. I never did this before. While it seems to work fine, the list of movies suffers from a major aspect ratio fail.

 

This is clearly a minor cosmetic issue, but is it fixable?  Here is a picture:

PS: I didn't grab the log at the time I did this, but if logs will help I will unpack the Roku, repeat the process, and upload a log.

Well, Emby Server is 3.4.1.0 (yes, I know there's an update waiting for me...).

 

The Roku stick has been sitting in a box since last August. When I set it up last week to test it out, first the Roku itself updated itself to presumably the latest version, then I added the Emby app so it is presumably current as of Friday or Saturday, whenever I messed with it.

 

I'm getting the feeling I need to reproduce and capture the log....

Possibly or the app just needs updating to the current version.

Thanks guys. No time tonight, and may not get to it before vacation. Eventually I will investigate and if it continues, will report back. It's just a cosmetic thing so not a big deal.

What is the type of that library?  Is it movies or home videos?

EDIT: The library content type that shows a problem is Mixed Content. I actually don't have any libraries in use that are Movies. I do have several TV Shows type libraries, and these display with correct aspect ratios. I checked multiple Mixed Content libraries; they are all stretchy.

 

The Emby server version is now updated to 3.5.0.0 this evening, and the Roku app was I believe 3.0.8.4 (or was it 3.0.84?) that showed before everything finished setting up when I went in and connected.

 

I'm attaching a log, starting I believe with when Emby started up after the update, and going through me playing around with the Roku just now. Note I had an aborted attempt to play Pirates of the Caribbean... it hung on the first attempt. Second attempt started fine. Not sure what that was about.

 

Again, stretchy icons I can live with; it's just a cosmetic thing, now duly reported.

Not positive it there was a update for this in the beta app channel.  Can't test Mixed/unset library right now.

Okay beta .88 has the same issue with Folder/Mixed/Unset libraries.  Image in post #1.
