It is available on our download page on our web site. I tested it (The normal Android app not the ATV app) now on my ATV. The theme videos do not play in the background and open in the foreground which makes it useless at this point. Tested on my MiBox4. EDIT: This happens on my Android phone as well. Tested on my OnePlus 9 Pro. Yep - just tested this on my Android Phone - it plays the backdrop video in the foreground instead of background - the Episode listings are not shown .. A 'back' gets you back to the Episode list.. Oh dear ... I spent a bit of time grabbing the Game of Throne UHD backdrop video's to re-create the UHD disk experience - and then released it only works on Web browser .. doh! ScottRTL 6 Posted March 17, 2022 Posted March 17, 2022 (edited) Once the background video bug is fixed, it would also be nice if the standard android app was available in the Google Play store on Android TV devices (mine is a Shield TV) and only the Android TV app is available. rbjtech 5284 Posted April 7, 2022 Posted April 7, 2022 It only works on the Web and ET for Windows Apps currently. The Android app does not work correctly and pulls the background video to the top over the GUI, thus making it useless and you need to turn it off .. I think this has been reported. 1

Hi, as mentioned it's not a typical bug fix as this will require a bit of an overhaul to the user interface, but yes it is in our plans to support. Thanks.

Thanks. Hey, I understand the Android TV app would need a "overhaul" in order to get the feature. The "bug" I am talking about is the Android Theme videos bug, where the backdrop theme video plays in the foreground (reguardless of what android device it is installed on) Because, you can have theme videos on Shield TV by installing the standard Android App, but the standard android app doesnt work as intended. (on my phone AND my Shield TV) 1 1

For the TV app we'd have to rework the entire user interface and so it's just a matter of when this would become the most important item on the agenda for it. 1
