I just acquired the plug-in to realize Android TV doesn't support video themes!!!

Esta función, está implementada en la app para LG, Samsung y Emby Theatre...Es una pasada, pero al igual que dicen muchos compañero, el hecho de que no esté implementada en Android TV/Fire Tv es un fastidio, porque hace que la experiencia de usuario de un gran salto de calidad...No puedo entener que no sea una prioridad..Espero que pronto esté incorporada.. Seria de agradecer..Gracias por vuestro trabajo...

Sorry about the duplicate post I had made on this! I did as many do, grabbed the plug-in (beautiful on my windows machine) and came here to say that’s without a doubt my number 1 request. Really sets off the collection with those videos playing, can’t wait to see it on my Shield TV’s too. Thanks for all your hard work, Easy to say bye bye Plex! looking forward to the update!

Where would I see these theme videos/songs if they were implemented?
Would it be like Netflix when you hoover over something it plays a video/sound in the background?

If you open the detail screen e.g. of a. of a movie or show the client would play the theme song in the background or will show you a theme video instead of the wallpaper. If you’ve a premium account and have theme files you can experience that mentioned behaviour in the web app.

This app does support theme songs.  Just not videos yet.

There just always seems to be much more important items that come up any time it gets close to looking at this.  It will happen eventually.

the plugin simply helps with obtaining theme videos. Any queries regarding use of those videos by apps should be taken up with the app developer, for android tv this is ebr

Coincido absolutamente. Todas las app de Emby la tienen, menos la de Android TV, que es la más popular...

Yeah, Android TV is most commonly used one and this regular feature in every media server,I am not sure why it is not prioritised even after 4 years of this thread created.

Buenas tardes ebr. Siempre se ha respondido en el mismo sentido sobre esta cuestión, utilizar la app de Android, pero es que para TV la app de Android TV está mejor adaptada. Tanto trabajo supone introducir esta opción que agradecerían muchos usuarios? Muchas gracias...
