embycon not showing any libraries

All libraries have disappeared from the kodi embycon add-on. They were previously visible but not anymore. General categories like collections TV shows movies etc. are visible, and I can see my library contents listed in there but the libraries themselves still don't show. I can also access the content and libraries through uPNP on kodi. This is on an Nvidia shield with the latest version of embycon. Emby for android TV shows the libraries properly, so does the web browser and emby for phone android.

 

No problems playing files, just more problems with the client not listing them despite being added as a library and visible to the server.

The server is on Windows 8.1 3.4.1.0

Things I have tried:
1. deleting authentication.DB and library.DB
2. starting a brand-new kodi profile from scratch
3. starting a brand-new emby profile from scratch

Any help? Thank you. If this is one of those inconsistent undocumented things where by design it chooses not to show certain libraries because of the content type or directory structure or what's in the folders, please let me know. Again I suggest documenting these things clearly on the wiki to avoid user frustration.

After further testing this seems to be an undocumented restriction/bug where embycon fails to show any mixed content libraries. Libraries with content set to movies or TV shows show appropriately.

I don't know if the beta skin/full kodi modification also suffers from this issue.

Embycon currently shows all the individual and global library contents.

Are you accessing embycon through the addons menus, video addons, embycon?

Yes..?! Do I have to access it from somewhere else? I can't find it anywhere else!

Which version of Kodi are you using and on which system?

Is the server access remote or local?

Does it gives you any type of error while trying to access those libraries?

Also Kodi and server log would make it easier for people to help you.

I'm on Windows 10 1803 using Kodi Leia (18.2)

The server is on local network.

Only the Movies, TV Show and Music libraries are shown to me and I never got any error from accessing them.

I will gather the logs and upload as soon as I find them. Thanks.

If i were you I would to a quick test with kodi 18.9 (latest Leia) or 19.1 (Current Matrix).

Also you can try with embycon beta from the beta repo.

they are the only one supported.
