juebanlin 1 Posted July 12, 2018 Posted July 12, 2018 (edited) #############Original information: #################Play information: ############Information after transcoding: #############compare: tscc avi: H264 MP4: Question: 1364x768 ==> 720x404 why???? After the transcoding, the video resolution is correct and clear, but the resolution of the playback process is reduced by half. All the settings I have adjusted, all did not achieve the effect after the transcoding, how to solve this problem, thank you. Luke 42081 Posted July 12, 2018 Posted July 12, 2018 Hi, can you try setting the quality in the video player back to Auto? Thanks.
juebanlin 1 Posted July 13, 2018 Author Posted July 13, 2018 (edited) Hi, can you try setting the quality in the video player back to Auto? Thanks. Still do not work, this is my config: I tried all the possible adjustment schemes, which are still vague, and the resolution is still problematic. My browser is Firefox. My server is win10+Quadro P400。 I think the possible reason is that there is something wrong with the resolution of my browser client. But this is limited to TSCC encoding format, the same server configuration, h265 transcoding, the client resolution is no problem. Edited July 13, 2018 by juebanlin
juebanlin 1 Posted July 13, 2018 Author Posted July 13, 2018 (edited) Hi, can you try setting the quality in the video player back to Auto? Thanks. This is the resolution of the client when playing in h265 MKV format. In the same configuration, only TSCC resolution has problems. This is my TSCC coded video: https://cloud.jueb.net:50006/s/cc7Zd45DAZ2QDNB Edited July 13, 2018 by juebanlin
Luke 42081 Posted July 13, 2018 Posted July 13, 2018 Ok thanks, I'm testing your sample. I have some possible changes but they're a little risky. Since we are trying to get a new release out I may wait until after the release to integrate them.
juebanlin 1 Posted July 13, 2018 Author Posted July 13, 2018 Ok thanks, I'm testing your sample. I have some possible changes but they're a little risky. Since we are trying to get a new release out I may wait until after the release to integrate them. Thanks very much. There are also some problems in the Android client, which may be the compatibility problem of my mobile phone. Problem 1: brightness and sound touch adjustment is too sensitive, sometimes even can not effectively adjust the sound, need external key adjustment is effective. Problem two: the function interface of the playback should be set to hide for touch, because sometimes the screen covers the subtitle after adjusting the video progress, and it takes a long time to see the subtitles. (this is not a bug, this is a problem of experience).
Luke 42081 Posted July 13, 2018 Posted July 13, 2018 Thanks for the feedback. the function interface of the playback should be set to hide for touch, Hi, it does. Just tap the screen and the OSD will go away.
juebanlin 1 Posted July 20, 2018 Author Posted July 20, 2018 Ok thanks, I'm testing your sample. I have some possible changes but they're a little risky. Since we are trying to get a new release out I may wait until after the release to integrate them. This problem still exists in the 3.5.0.0 version
juebanlin 1 Posted July 25, 2018 Author Posted July 25, 2018 Thanks for the feedback. Hi, it does. Just tap the screen and the OSD will go away. The OSD concealment problem has been dealt with. The brightness adjustment is also normal. But the volume adjustment is still too sensitive, resulting in no control of the volume, and can only be adjusted by external keys.
Luke 42081 Posted July 25, 2018 Posted July 25, 2018 Thanks for the feedback. We'll take another look.
juebanlin 1 Posted August 9, 2018 Author Posted August 9, 2018 Thanks for the feedback. We'll take another look. Thank you for solving the hidden problem of OSD and the adjustment of brightness and volume. but the TSCC encoded avi format video transcoding is still very vague.
Luke 42081 Posted August 9, 2018 Posted August 9, 2018 Please try again with the next release. Thanks.
juebanlin 1 Posted August 9, 2018 Author Posted August 9, 2018 Please try again with the next release. Thanks. Did you seriously test the video files I provided? The problem still exists. Please look at the log carefully:
Luke 42081 Posted August 9, 2018 Posted August 9, 2018 Yes i did, but 3.5.2 is the current release. That's not the next release. Please try again with the next major release (3.6+). Thanks.
juebanlin 1 Posted August 9, 2018 Author Posted August 9, 2018 ok,thanks。 After I added the pismo-related DLL to the current version of the server, emby still did not call my plug-in before playing the ISO file. It seems that the problem is that the server does not execute canMount and Mount functions of plug-ins at all. I hope this problem can also be in the next version。
Luke 42081 Posted August 9, 2018 Posted August 9, 2018 It will be resolved. I have already tested. Thanks.
