SearchTerm

Beginning with beta 3.4.1.31, and thus, the next release, you can now use search as part of any query. The following endpoints support it:

/Items
/People
/Artists
/Studios
/Genres

With this, you no longer need to use the specific /Search api, which comes with some drawbacks in that it returns items of a slightly different structure than the other endpoints.

so the syntax is the same as the search api?

 

e.g. /emby/items?searchterm=Blade%20Runner.......

 

or

 

e.g. /emby/people?searchterm=Harrison%20Ford...
