Emby Theater Xbox One Trailers do nothing but spiining circle

is there a fix im on the newest app and server, and have a paid account it woirks everywhere but xbox it's like the app is not opeining the youtube link and we see a spinning circle the ember for emby app in the store does work with trailers but is unstable in ever other way.

Just wondering if there was any progress on this issue?

I've having the exact same issue; trailers play everywhere (PC, iOS, Android) except via Emby Premiere on Xbox One, endless spinning circle. It's a real shame.

emby needs like plex, someway to internal the trailers not going to youtube, is there a way to link it to the trailers plugin mybe?

Yes but they are expensive. We are looking into the youtube based playback in the windows store app. Unfortunately the YouTube SDK isn't quite made for what we're doing and that's a big reason for the issue.

@@Luke would it be possible to use another trailer API/Source like IMDB or Trailer Addict? If not switch entirely maybe it would be possible to default to one of these, at least on the Xbox app?

TrailerAddict maybe, but Imdb is not a free and open data service either.
