gold badge is gone

since a few days my gold badge on the mbserver is turned to silver,

i tried to re-enter the supporter keys but that had no effect.

what can i do?

According to this:

De externe naam kan niet worden omgezet: 'www.mb3admin.com'

Translation:

The remote name could not be resolved

We cannot get a DNS lookup from your server machine.

How can i solve this?

is it a setting in my router?

Strange i didnt had any problems with my internetconnection.

I really don't know.  It could be your ISP, it could be a proxy of some sort.  All I know is, when we try to access our server (and some others I saw in there) it could not resolve it.  It is a networking issue of some sort.

@@edwin1234 - which DNS servers are you using ??

 

If not already, try Google's, 8.8.8.8 and/or 8.8.4.4.

 

From what I understand, there has been a widespread DDOS attack in europe the last few days so you may be being affected.

 

I haven't had any issues using Google's DNS servers.

still the same errors in the log

Can i try to ping to the ipadress or hostname?

Dont have problems with internet connections at all only with the mb3server registration progress.

 

Anyone another idea?

Yes, you can try to ping www.mb3admin.com, the results will show you if it can resolve it or not. What provider are you on?

i can ping www.mb3admin.com no problems with that.     but in the log there is : Error getting response from http://www.mb3admin.com/admin/service/registration/validate

and Error getting response from http://www.mb3admin.com/admin/service/registration/validate

De externe server heeft een fout geretourneerd: (500) Interne serverfout.

I'm also on upc and the link gives me a reply: {"featId":null,"registered":false,"expDate":"1900-01-01"} what happens if you just browse to that address either from you server or a different computer (or device like a smartphone/tablet on wifi)?

Ok, and you tested that on the same computer as where mb server is running on? Seems to me that there's no problem with name resolving then and also no problem getting a result when using a browser. Are you sure your browser is not using a proxy server?

Yes i did this on the pc with the mbserver on it.

I dont no if i have a proxy server.

How can i check if i have a proxy server?
