Unable to see Emby devices, just a spinning circle.

Hoping someone can check something out for me, my Emby yesterday appears to have had something change on it as a Collections library has appeared on my panel and an on-going device issue I had in some way seems to have fixed itself. I was unable to view a bunch of Smart TV's in my device list which was frustrating as I could never find them to rename each device for my subs.

This seems to have fixed itself in a way as if I look in my user's area I can now see these devices listed under the user which is a positive as I can now control device access. What I can't see now however is my devices at all, when I select devices I end up with a spinning circle and nothing happens it just sits there. If I use the Emby app on my android to manage the server I can view the devices however I can't see the same device list under my user accounts there seems to be a mismatch.

Hi Luke, yes still a major issue for me there is a small update I can provide. the Emby android app on my mobile used to list devices but with loads missing but it now appears to not list any at all. Regardless of whether i use a mobile Emby android app, Internet Explorer or Google Chrome I just get a spinning circle and it's an issue as I can't rename my devices for my users and manage them also when deleting etc.

I have attached a screenshot it would appear you've pushed an update out which in a way has fixed my previous problem of Smart TV devices not listed, I can tell as under my users I can now see and manage these devices but I can't tell the difference as normally I rename them so i can manage them easier and remove them of course. I have attached a screenshot below so you can see all I am getting. I noticed the update seems to have been pushed out to the android app too as it looks slightly different and I can tell as the Collections library has appeared which wasn't there before.

Yes I am using that site on multiple browsers and have sane issue. Also have the problem in my emby android app

Ok, those apps are just a little ahead of your server version right now. It will be resolved once the upcoming server release is available. Workaround for now would be to use these functions on your built-in web app. Thanks.

Just open a web browser to http://localhost:8096

 

Just for future reference, what you're doing with the online web app is perfectly fine. This situation of pushing updates before the new server is available is not something that will happen very often. It just so happens that this particular time it is affecting you. Thanks.
