Opening app shows blank screen

Hello,

 

I been using emby for a couple of days. Sometimes when I open the app after closing it either by a) pressing back till it minimizes or pressing the home button I end up with a blank screen.

Closing the app from the recent list and starting it again fixes it.

 

Android: 7.0

App: 2.9.92

Phone: Huawei Honor 8

 

 

And one question if you don't mind:

 

• It seems that keeping the app open while I am casting to chromecast consumes enough battery to make it noticeable. Will minimizing it have any effect or shall I close it completely (with the downside I have to reconnect to both app + chrome-cast to issue commands

Hi, welcome. I haven't heard of this before, but we gradually have a new release rolling out so once you have 2.9.96 or greater, please let us know if you still see it with that. Thanks.

Will do thanks! Next time I watch an episode will note battery levels to see if it warrants more discussing.
