emby on iphone/ipad - download/sync

When I try and donwload or sync content to my iphone or ipad it never actually starts it stays in 'ready to transfer' state - any idea what I'm doing wrong ?

 

 

Looking at the transcode folder the only file i see is a vtt subtitle file

 

edit: updated to Version 3.4.1.27 beta , of the server for ubuntu - seems to be getting further so ill test this out.

edit2: now the converstion & transfer to the iphone works - but playback of a downloaded item fails with "Playback Error" no compatible streams are available - i see a few other posts about this as well.
