DVR Series - Cancelled but Not Really - Still Records

OK - I have this strange bug that is driving me crazy.  I have several series set to record.  I added Paw Patrol (for my grandson) and after realizing the TV guide was wrong I tried to cancel the series.  Well I thought it did through the cancel series option and it actually even removed it from my series list.  However it is still recording - shows up in my schedule and actually still records episodes.  The problem is I can't cancel it now - when I get the series pop-up I can't actually click on cancel series - it just hangs the server.  I can click on "Do Not Record" but that only cancels that episode queued to record.  

 

I was trying to find a DVR database and thought I would just remove it but you guys have hid it pretty good.  Any suggestions?  I have checked for updates, rebooted the server multiple times and the problem persists.

Any suggestions?  I just checked and it is still queuing the schedule to record more tomorrow - it will be a real pain to go in and manually cancel each individual episode every couple of days.

if you create a new series recording, then check the episodes it sets to record, then go and cancel, does that one get cleaned up?

Hi Luke - Yes - I cancelled Ranger Bob and it cleaned it up.  The difference is - I could actually click on cancel series and it responded.  The server does not respond when I click on "Cancel Series" for Paw Patrol.

Luke - I have an idea - I will remove Nickolodean from my IPT M3U list and update the guide.  Not sure what will happen - but it's all I can think of.  With my luck on this bug , when I add it back to the IPTV list it will pop back up.  haha.  I'll report back shortly.

OK - well that did not help.  I removed the channel from my M3U list and refreshed the guide.  I could confirm the channel is no longer there - however Paw Patrol still shows up under the schedule.  I still cannot click on the cancel series button and if I try to click on "Series Settings" I get an infinite spinning "processing" loop.

Ok I believe this is actually data related and caused by a defect that existed in an older release of the server. i would try shutting down the server and then deleting this folder:

C:\Users\toddm\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\programdata\data\livetv

This will wipe out your entire dvr schedule and then you'll have to re-schedule the recordings that you want. Thanks.

Luke - I think I may have resolved this.  After removing the channel from the M3U list didn't work.  I thought of another idea.  I added the channel back to the M3U list but this time - I remapped the Nick channel to a random channel on my Schedules Direct list.  Refreshed the guide and - shazam - Paw Patrol was gone.  I then remapped the Nick channel to the correct schedules direct guide....refreshed the guide once again and what do you know??? It did not reappear.  If I wake up in the morning to find a stupid Paw Patrol episode - I will try your suggestion above.
