Number of images downloaded seems to have changed?

Hi folks,

I recently updated to the latest 3.4.1.0 Server... one thing I noticed is I seem to have fewer images being downloaded per movie. I remember once changing the value of how many images to pull, long ago, but I can't seem to find that setting now.

Could someone please be so kind as to tell me where to look for it? I usually keep it at 5 images per movie, or thereabouts.

Right now I'm just getting one fanart, one logo, and one poster. Maybe a landscape too. Older rip folders have an "extra fanart" folder full of additional images, and the main root folder also has a disc image and a clearart image.

I'd like to get it back to where it was.

Thanks

I suspect that when they changed this to a per library thing, it got reset to the default of 1 image, noticed fairly recently that new stuff I was adding was only adding one image for backgrounds and I think no extra fanart.

Anyway you need to update for each library individually Library > three Dots > Manage Library > Show Advanced Settings slider and down to Movie Image Fetchers, Fetcher Settings - obvious really.

Edit: and Scan Media Library under Scheduled Tasks seems to help afterwards.

Hi Guys,

Hah! Obvious, really? LOL

So, I went in and made the changes described, then did a library scan.  But no additional images showed up, across any of 3 libraries that I tweaked.

Is there some other step needed to get this all to refresh?

I will check the folders again in the morning.  Maybe with time they will populate.

the changes only apply to new media going forward. if you want them to apply to existing media, you'll need to refresh those titles manually.

Just Refresh for missing metadata, you don't need all.
