Are these legacy collections? How were they created?

Sorry, I didn't mention they were were created through html not legacy.

 

edit: Just noticed in Music Videos, I had part of them at root in the "artist name" folder like legacy collections, now all videos are shown as individual files.

I have refreshed the library, and the collections it's self a few times without success.

 

Just performed the collections refresh again as you asked, and a single BoxSet, "The Fast and the Furious Collection" appeared and fully populated.  

 

The only thing I had done previously to the this refresh was yesterday, I used your Metadata Manager under Collections, to open the "The Fast and the Furious Collection" noting when I selected it, the arrow disappeared to navigate to the movie links inside the BoxSet.

 

So to test this theory, I went back and selected each of the BoxSets, this removed the sub navigation arrow as there links were broken.  Refreshed the collection with success, all BoxSets returned fully populated.

 

I don't know what caused this behavior but it's a workaround.

 

Anyway Thanks for the help with this issue and hope the next system will fix WMC.

Oh, just noticed that WMC under the category "Movies" will not combine them into configured BoxSets. The settings box is checked to do so.

 

"Collections" are working as expected.

 

I'm on the latest betas for EMC and Emby Server.

 

Hope we don't need to add this to the OP's title.

We really could use some help testing it though as there is not very much, if any, WMC representation in beta testing forum. We're doing our best to test ourselves but the more people that help out, the less that will slip through to the stable release.

Luke, I would like to help out with this if I can but I'm not sure how beta works. I seem to remember reading in the past that once I install beta server I can't go back on a given machine. Is this true? Thanks

That's correct, yes. You can switch back to stable once the beta goes stable. At that point the two branches will be the same so it will be safe to switch between them.

I updated to server beta, and I am now running beta versions of both server, and EMC andI don't get the trailer links.  When I click on a trailer in the web app it prompts me to sign up for emby premier but I'm pretty sure I already have premier.  Without much verification of my premier status, I do know video backdrops work, which are only available with premier if I understand correctly.  What can I contribute to help troubleshoot?  Thanks.

Emby server 3.6.0.56 beta working as expected with HTML and Samsung Apps but WMC has no change.

 

I'm using the latest WMC beta, still exhibits missing Collections nestled at the Movie view, Movie Extras link, and Trailers link.

Server v3.6.0.57 beta still working as expected.  Very nice gui across the html web and Samsung apps.  Appears to load quicker with the apps not sure if by design.

 

WMC now displays the missing "Extras" and "Trailer" links  .  The "Movies" view, still not nestling predetermined collections together.

I put in a hack for WMC, which i would have expected to resolve it. If that's not the case then this might not get resolved unfortunately.
