josavvyy 0 Posted July 6, 2018 Author Posted July 6, 2018 I have run many scans. The trailers are available in emby theater and appletv. They're only missing in wmc. Everything was fine but they seemed to have disappeared with one of the last few beta server updates. I would love to switch to emby theater or appletv full time but I have about 1000 movies that are in parts.
bling26 6 Posted July 22, 2018 Posted July 22, 2018 I am having the exact same issue after the last update to server 3.5 and Emby Classic. The trailers are still available from other Emby apps but not Classic within Media Center. I am unable to locate any options allowing it as well. I even tried other themes as well as Chocolate and no trailer button. Please help

throgmorton 96 Posted July 23, 2018 Posted July 23, 2018 Whats weird is I have two servers my main one and the one I just setup for the cottage (Both Server 3.5). My main one which has been hosting me forever has no issues showing the trailers under WMC however the fresh install for my server for the cottage won't allow access to the trailers. Even when I add a brand new trailer to a movie my main one will still recognize and make the trailer available under WMC but the new cottage won't despite the fact that they are both version 3.5. I'm not sure if this helps you trace down the issue but I thought it maybe useful information.
throgmorton 96 Posted August 8, 2018 Posted August 8, 2018 I may have jumped the gun on that one. mine have dissapeared but clicking refresh under WMC brings it back, however as soon as I exit Emby and come back the icon its not available till I hit refresh again.

bling26 6 Posted August 11, 2018 Posted August 11, 2018 Thanks for the update. I also have Emby Theater installed but I only use in a pinch. I still like Classic for Media Center better It is the main reason I have kept my HTPC running Windows 8 lol. Will wait to hear back from you. 1

bling26 6 Posted October 11, 2018 Posted October 11, 2018 Not yet, sorry. I am told by Luke in another thread that there is a new Emby server release coming soon (3.6?). This sounds like a major update and is believed to fix my other WMC Classic issue. So I believe it will solve this issue as well. Let us wait and find out 1

We're doing our best to test ourselves but the more people that help out, the less that will slip through to the stable release. 1

I will test it for WMC and post backi the outputs before you move it to stable.

shadetree 6 Posted October 13, 2018 Posted October 13, 2018 OK, Sorry to report the beta has no effect to WMC, but did break all Collections. It appears to not see the collections metadata on the server completely but the xml is correct. On the web app, selecting the "Collections" icon at the home screen displays the created collections image, but there is no content inside. Back to the home screen selecting the "Movies" icon shows all movies, but will not allow to group items together based on the collection they've been added to. Additionally selecting the collections tab returns a blank screen.
