Black border during playback in MB3 Classic

Noob to MB here and need help.

I see a black border all around the played content when I am playing back in MB3 Classic using whatever native player that comes with MB3. I am running MB3 Classic WMC plugin on the same PC as MB3 Server. I am seeing this problem on the HTPC and Extender (XBox 360) as well. I tried to use MB3 Theater and the same problem there. I do not see any borders when I am looking at the MB3 Classic content listings only the playback.

This issue does not exist if I am playing the same movies in WMC under Movies.

Thanks in advance for help.

That's the rub. I've read that thread and I don't have issues with blue borders in the "browser" or listings. Listing are displayed correctly, edge to edge. Only when I play the content that I see a black border.

The border is probably encoded in the content itself.  What is it?

Any video content (TS, M2TS, MKV, MP4, AVI, WMV, etc.). If I try to play through WMC default player (in WMC under Movies) I see no border. In MB3 Classic I see the border.

Is the zoom setting in WMC set to something odd?

No. Whatever is the default.

No. Whatever is the default.

How do you know?  I mean, if you don't know what it is set to...

Hit the "info" button on your remote while one of these is playing and scroll over to Zoom.  Which one is checked?

OK. I will check later. At work right now. Thanks for the tip. What player is MB3 using? Is it using its own or whatever the WMC is set to?

WMC is it's own player and we are using that.

Could it be that he set the wrong TV type during the WMC setup process?

That is also a possibility.
