Filters need to be sticky in media views

I'm trying to defect to Emby from Plex and one thing that bugs me in the TV Show view is that it displays empty folders as 'watched'

 

Plex ignores folders that are empty (or have incorrectly titled files) by default. In Emby I can set the view filter to 'unplayed' but as soon as I changed views the filter clears itself.

 

Please either have the filter stick permanently or a checkbox to say don't display empty folders.

Just please don't do what those idiots at Plex did and change the behaviour to remove the empty folder without warning when the last file is deleted or folder is empty. I lost half my file structure when it rampaged through my share after an update a few months ago.
