Kurosh 16 Posted June 26, 2018 Posted June 26, 2018 (edited) Hello, I've attached the INFO emby log. Two problems, not sure if related... Repair dB and/or Reset dB fails when it tries to parse Michael Jackson "Dangerous" folder of M4A files (as per the attached log). When I move this folder outside of my Music library it completes just fine Every time I load Kodi and the Emby client, I get a "You are not connected to your emby server" message pop ups even though everything looks and plays ok (inc watch status updates etc. This happens every time REGARDLESS of whether I remove the "Dangerous" folder or not. Hence, doesn't appear to be related to the syncing. This error message has only recently started concurring may have only started after the recent latest update but I'm not sure. Help! Thanks in advance. kodi.log Edited June 26, 2018 by Kurosh
Angelblue05 4132 Posted June 26, 2018 Posted June 26, 2018 (edited) Your server returns bad status 500. Do you have your server log from that time? It's definitely stopping during importing your songs. Anyway, the real error would show up in your server log. Edited June 26, 2018 by Angelblue05
Kurosh 16 Posted June 27, 2018 Author Posted June 27, 2018 Hi, I didn't have debug logging enabled on the server but here is what I have managed to find. Is it detailed enough or do I need to replicate the error with debug logging enabled? Emby Server.log
mireki1975 4 Posted June 27, 2018 Posted June 27, 2018 i have 4 exakt the same clients suddenly one started with these "error". After click on OK all is fine i have changed my "fuse (neue)" skin to esutary and the message disappears- when switching back to fuse it comes back i think it has todo with dependencies to other addons @@Kurosh , change the skin and tell us was happened
Kurosh 16 Posted June 27, 2018 Author Posted June 27, 2018 Hi,With regard to error number 1 as per above (library update/sync failing) - I have attached a 'debug' Emby Server log for Angelblue05 to look into if the Emby server log I previously wasn't detailed enough. With regard to error number 2 as per above ("You are not connected to your Emby server") - changing the skin to Estuary did indeed stop the error message popping up. Changing the skin back to what I use, Mimic, reproduced the error as mireki1975 suggested it would. Seems strange to me.Thanks. Emby Server Debug.log
Angelblue05 4132 Posted June 27, 2018 Posted June 27, 2018 @@Luke The server error is at the end of the server log. A sqlite exception it seems.
Luke 42077 Posted June 28, 2018 Posted June 28, 2018 Your server's library database file appears to be corrupted. You'll need to shutdown the server, then rename this file: C:\Users\kurosh\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\data\library.db Then start back up and run a library scan, as well as a guide refresh (if you use live tv). Typical causes of this are sudden and abrupt terminations of the emby server process, such as a power loss, killing the process from the task manager, windows crash, etc. Please let us know if this helps. Thanks.
Kurosh 16 Posted June 28, 2018 Author Posted June 28, 2018 Hi @Luke, Will give this a go but will it lose all my watched statuses? Thanks
Luke 42077 Posted June 29, 2018 Posted June 29, 2018 Yes it would. Our backup guide can help with that: https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Wiki/wiki/Backup Thanks.
Kurosh 16 Posted July 1, 2018 Author Posted July 1, 2018 Hi, Sorry for the delay. Yes deleting the database and starting again fixed error number 1 as per above (library update/sync failing). THANK YOU. Any ideas on error number 2 as per above ("You are not connected to your Emby server") - changing the skin to Estuary did indeed stop the error message popping up. Changing the skin back to what I use, Mimic, reproduced the error as mireki1975 suggested it would. 1
Angelblue05 4132 Posted July 2, 2018 Posted July 2, 2018 (edited) Something must be trying to load something from the add-on before you are connected. This message triggers for a manual sync, refresh boxset, manually triggering the fast sync or a repair sync. Do you have any shortcut that could trigger this? Is the message: Not connected to the emby server? Edited July 2, 2018 by Angelblue05
Kurosh 16 Posted July 2, 2018 Author Posted July 2, 2018 Yes, the message is: "You are not connected to your Emby server" This message does NOT appear when I use the standard Estuary skin. I haven't changed my skin nor skin settings in ages, this came out of nowhere.
cow666 6 Posted July 6, 2018 Posted July 6, 2018 I have also just (within the last 24 hours) started seeing the "You are not connected to your Emby server" message pop up every time I boot up my client. I'm using the Arctic: Zephyr skin
Angelblue05 4132 Posted July 6, 2018 Posted July 6, 2018 (edited) I'll be posting a new build later that corrects this. Thanks. Something is triggering a connection to emby, before the add-on is logged in. I'll suppress the dialog. Edited July 6, 2018 by Angelblue05
cow666 6 Posted July 11, 2018 Posted July 11, 2018 Has the updated build been posted yet? I haven't seen an update.
Angelblue05 4132 Posted July 11, 2018 Posted July 11, 2018 Yes. Version 3.0.33. Maybe subscribe to the emby for kodi thread. I always post new builds there. https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/21888-emby-for-kodi/page-17&do=findComment&comment=595825
