Why can't I see all the plugins in Catalog?

I read in another post I need to click some checkbox that shows all channels, but I can't find that. And I don't see all these channels in the Catalog already:

Why is adding a channel so confusing... In Plex I just copied a file and it worked. Here, I need to build it from source? What the hell. I even built the plugins, copied the .dll to the AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\programdata\plugins and even after a restart it doesn't show. I don't get it.

 

Log even shows the new plugin is loaded, and some odd errors further below:

Hi, you don't need to build anything from source. Is the catalog empty for you, or is it showing some channels?

 

The plugins in that github repository you're linking to have all been removed from the catalog over time due to their websites changing and updates being required for them.

The Catalog shows some channels. But it's missing others from that github. So there's no other toggles to display more in the Catalog? No more user-made channels?

Those are all of the channels we have in the catalog.

The plugins in that github repository you're linking to have all been removed from the catalog over time due to their websites changing and updates being required for them.

The source remains on github so that any interested community members can resurrect them, if desired.

Tsk. Tempting. Alright, lots of info. Would have made sense if you guys added a little comment there about all this. Save some frustration.
