Folder sharing error with auto organize

This is really strange.

 

The folder I monitor with the auto organize plugin is shared, however if I drop a new folder with a media item into it, this new sub folder is not shared and auto organize plugin can't access it.

 

This only just started happening yesterday.

 

As a side note I do utilize a c# application which creates these new sub folders inside the plugins monitored folder.

 

This could be the issue. But, I thought that as long as a parent folder was shared, in Windows, all sub folders would inherit the access setting.

 

This could be wrong and perhaps when creating these sub folders, the c# app has to set access settings specifically.

 

Or maybe emby needs to be run with elevated privileges.

 

Because it is an interesting topic, I'll do some more digging and return here with my findings.

Sounds like a permissions problem on one of the sub folders.
