roku transcoding subtitles

Hello,

 

I run two roku devices, one locally and one remotely which keep transcoding due to subtitles not being compatible. Is there a way to make roku not automatically choose any subtitles per say? Or do I need to delete them with some program out of the .mkv

 

Oddly enough the subtitles work on Plex and don't transcode not sure why Emby has this issue I do not believe it's a roku issue.

You could disable them all together per user. 

 

Log into web app with admin user and go to Dashboard-Users-select the user with subtitle issues-click "Edit this user's profile, image and personal preferences."-Subtitles-Subtitle mode- and change to no subtitles, or look at the options available.
