Jeffpyn 1 Posted June 16, 2018 Posted June 16, 2018 I got a LG C7 (04.70.05) a awhile back and connected via Wifi on my 5 GHz channel ( Netflix speedtest reported 80 Mbps). I was initially able to stream 4k content using the built-in apps successfully for at least the couple of weeks. Suddenly, all of the streaming quality has plummeted to well below SD, Netflix speedtest reported 1 Mbps. A factory reset would fix the problem until the TV was turned off, then once the TV was turned back on the Wifi speed would again be 1 Mbps.. After much hair pulling, I found a couple of post that suggested a working solution is to disable the quick startup option in the general settings. This is apparently enough to reset the wifi hardware. Disabling the quickstart+ option fixed my issue. Though I would share in case others are having a simular problem Jeff

Following an advice on a Dutch forum I also changed the wifi channel to 37 and since those 2 changes the wifi performance has been rock solid for months!
