kodi emby tvtunes and musical themes.

Hello everyone!
   I need your help.

I am user emby and kodi (android). Currently I use the emby as it serves my media and the kodi to view. I like the addon (tvtunes) but this has been banned from the kodi forum.
I still use the same, but I'm running into a feature that bothers visually ...
When you play the theme, in my skin (Eminence) it is displaying the information "Playing theme.mp3".

So why am I posting this "problem" here. I would like to know if there is something in emby that I can use and remove the tvtunes addon.
That is, something that plays the role of tvtunes.

I tried searching the xml file, where it disabled it, but without success

That always has to be hidden by the skin. Even if Emby or EmbyCon is used, it's still the player of Kodi so it makes no difference what triggeres the playback of the audio file. You will always see such notifications.

I used tvtunes in kodi with the emby for kodi addon. I use the skin TItan and I do not see any onscreen info about the theme that is playing. Maybe give Titan a try.

I use same here and don't get the screen info as well. Really like Titan skin.

I am going chime in here as well! Titan skin is the BEST skin IMHO! I have tried to steer away from Kodi and Titan skin, just to do something different. And I keep coming back to it. It very simple to use and has all the eye candy needed. I would like to ask one question about the tvtunes and themes. In TVTUNES, there is an option to play Trailers if there is no theme present for the movie. Is there a trick to get this to work?

my Folder Structure

Movie / Movie title/ Movie title.mp4

                               Movie title-trailer.mp4

                              Movie title.nfo etc....

Any idea how tvtunes pickup the trailer?

Is this a new feature? Last I heard, it could play tv theme, and movie theme videos. Nothing about trailers.

I am not sure if this a new feature or not. I am using TVTUNES - 100.6.1

I was able copy the trailer to the Backdrops folder run the emby themes and also make sure trailers are used if no theme is present

hope that helps.

Does anyone have their theme music or videos working on Kodi 18

I've checked the tv tunes code and it looks like something that's only compatible with native playback (when Kodi can see your media folders). The add-on looks for the file within the media folders. Music and video theme are supported with add-on playback, just not play trailers. I don't recall that option, but it's probably something we can work to support at a later time, like video themes.

In the same scheme of TVTUNES we have the TVMELODIES that only plays the theme.mp3 within the folder of the movie or series, could there be compatibility by Emby in seeing this type of file for the plugin to work ?? I use KODI + EMBY ADDON and unfortunately I am sad that there is no implementation of THEMES, this set does not see the theme.mp3 in the folder with standard structure, would it be possible to implement something like this?

Use native path which provides Kodi with the real path to your content. You won't have anything emby related (cinema mode, etc) but it will provide full compatibiltiy with Kodi add-ons that require to see your content. If you make the switch, then you need to reset your local database to apply the change.

The add-on has a sync theme option but what it does is creates files locally that represents your theme files but with an emby url. And it's only setup to work with TV Tunes.
