cow666 6 Posted June 12, 2018 Posted June 12, 2018 Hi I'm having problems with a new install of Emby Server My collection is made of several folders held on a separate windows server sorted into type folders Eg.. TV Shows, Movies etcEach folder can be scanned and updated individually but when the Update media Library job runs it always failed Please helpLog attached Log.txt
Happy2Play 9785 Posted June 12, 2018 Posted June 12, 2018 Unfortunately this appears to be a corrupt database. Corrupt: database disk image is malformed I would wait for @@Luke to confirm it is the library.db though. If it is you will need to use the Server Configuration Backup plugin to capture your users data to be restored in a new database, as you will need to delete the current one.
cow666 6 Posted June 12, 2018 Author Posted June 12, 2018 (edited) Thanks for responding @Happy2Play Bugger was fearing as much...how do I delete or fix the database? Edited June 12, 2018 by cow666
Happy2Play 9785 Posted June 12, 2018 Posted June 12, 2018 I would install the Server Configuration Backup plugin and run the scheduled task to create a backup to save your userdata, shutdown Emby server, then delete the library.db in C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\programdata\data. Restart your server, perform a library scan, return to backup plugin and select your backup and only restore the users and user playstate section. I would still wait for Luke to confirm it is the library.db.
ebr 16195 Posted June 12, 2018 Posted June 12, 2018 Yes, it does look like the library DB. This can happen if the server application is shut down abruptly like with a power failure or if you killed it with task manager.
