c0m3r 95 Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 When you say no games show, do you mean you dont see the 'Games' collection in MBT or do you mean you cant see a play button on the games?
ALIE 1 Posted March 31, 2014 Author Posted March 31, 2014 No 'Games' in collection in MIT. I figure I'm doing something wrong just can't find the mistake, movies no problem.
Redshirt 1487 Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 Have you followed the setup directions for the server plugin as per the wiki? Sorry I can't link it with my phone.
c0m3r 95 Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 First make sure you have set the games media collection up in your library from the server dashboard. This should point to the directory where you have all your roms organised in folders by console e.g. C:\Media\Games or wherever your roms are. Next make sure you have set up the emulators in the gamebrowser plugin configuration page on the server. Each platform should point to the specific folders mentioned above e.g. C:\Media\Games\Nintendo 64. Finally you need to configure the emulators in the external player menu in MBT. You create an external player for each game system and it to the specific emulator exe file. Have you done all of the above?
ALIE 1 Posted March 31, 2014 Author Posted March 31, 2014 Point by point how it looks.. Maybe I can show it better then I can tell it. Pictures can be zoomed in on..
shaefurr 1340 Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 In screenshot 2 there's a games entry but no media location added Sent from my XT907 using Tapatalk
shaefurr 1340 Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 It would be the location of your games, use the root folder. In your case use G:\Games, mine below is the root games folder but using a UNC path.
tufeixp 1 Posted June 6, 2024 Posted June 6, 2024 I can not find any tutorial on how to set a simple windows standalone game exe file detectable in emby theater, assuming without installing any game plugins. Please figure out how to do that?
