The episode is there in the lib, but a second entry with missing episode

Hello Com,

hello Emby Team,

 

i have recognized that there is maybe an issue ? He recorded the Episode S2E7 from Westworld, Emyb add this to the lib and show it to me, but there is now a second entry with the same episode marked at missed. This is often happen. I have shutdown the Server, for change some Plugins, after restart i have seen this, that now all is ok, only on right entry in the lib, the episode and no second entry with missed anymore, for this series i have checked.

 

Did i something wrong, is there a task that should update it, or is this an issue ?

Try turning off the display of missing episodes.

I think he wants them shown...

 

When you have a missing/unaired episode in the library and then that episode comes in, the "missing" version may not go away until after the next library scan.

 

That is probably just the situation you saw here.

To me it looks like a metadata mismatch as the names are different.  Have you tried Refreshing the Missing one.

 

@@Luke could there be a issue with the language selection as the screenshot shows the "Deutsch" name with metadata and the possibly "English" name in Missing (this could be another language)?

 

Are language preferences coming from TVDB, TMDB or both?

No, this is a very nice option! But you should auto trigger a series refresh and not only download new meta data if the library monitor detects a new file and download of missing episodes is enabled.

So can i solve this now when i hit this option ? @@Luke

 

Queue a library scan on completion, if setted in movies and TV Shows, the library scan will be triggered once

 

I can see this option now, after i update it to 3.5.0

 

So when AutoOrganize moved the file successfull he triggers the scan media library task ? Than this would be awesome.

 

For now my task timers for scan looks like this.

 

 

Now after every epsiode he is finished moved to his right position, the scan media library task is triggert ? I dont understand it what it happens with queue ?

When not, this would be i nice additional for the future, so auto organize triggers the media scan after he moved the episode.

Oh, sorry, I don't know anymore. That setting came from a community contributor @@PoppyPop. He has helped improve the plugin quite a bit, but as for me I don't know enough about it anymore to really be able to offer much help.
