Recording and playback

Hi folks so i have spent last few weeks tweeking my setup and must say appears to be working fairly well but few wee issues

 

1. When i record a program and then view it, if i need to fast forward it does not move, ie if i try to slide the timeline to say 20 mins in future it just remains on current time, how can i fix this as i record alot of boxing so want to view a particular fight but have to wait until it gets to that point

 

2.I came from plex and it had feature to auto remove adverts, is there a way to do this on emby?

cheers mate also can you tell me how to make emby put media in right directory ie tvshows/movies ect, i have recorded a movie, i have set up metadata and physically put it in my movie folder but emby keeps tagging it as a tvshow

In Emby dvr settings you can configure the path for recording movies and tv series. Try doing that. Thanks.
