It sounds to me like an issue that is limited to Windows Insider. Chances are it will resolve itself after future insider builds.

I'm on Win10, 1803 build 17713 - and i have the same issue.

 

Could you perhaps check what your Chrome version is ? I'm on build 69.x - and i actually think the issue started with a chrome update.

 

If i change the def. browser to Edge - the link on the Emby app works, and starts up in Edge (and no, not an option - dont like IE in general ;-)

I don't see anything in the Chome console - And i might have to retract a little - it might be something related to Edge browser anyway !

 

Some other programs have similar issues - https://github.com/ritwickdey/vscode-live-server/issues/152

 

Just very strange, that it works if Edge is default browser - and not when chrome is.

Yea I don't think there's much we can do about this I'm afraid.

It is working again.

 

I updated my Windows to 17738 RS5 build and now it is working. And my Chrome is 69.0.3497.57 (beta).

 

I am not sure about subsequent Windows builds as I know the fast ring had a new one on the same day the slow ring got the aforementioned build.
