adelphiaUK 4 Posted June 5, 2018 Posted June 5, 2018 Here are some feature requests. Some are easier than others and some would only be beneficial to certain OSes but could be expanded across other OSes. Ability to manage server using LG TV App (and possibly others) Ability to display / hide format on posters (Blue-ray / Box Sets) on main displays Ability to configure layout (what to display and where) on LG TV App (and possibly others) Ability to configure admin dashboard layout / menu items Add © Copyright, release, build etc message to Emby (credit where credit is due) to main menu page with the ability to choose the location where it's displayed Add ability to choose how many items (Movies / TV Shows) are displayed on a page Thanks for reading!
Luke 42079 Posted June 5, 2018 Posted June 5, 2018 Ability to display / hide format on posters (Blue-ray / Box Sets) on main displays Check out the cover art plugin. Add ability to choose how many items (Movies / TV Shows) are displayed on a page Eventually the paging will be gone in favor of infinite scrolling. Ability to configure admin dashboard layout / menu items Why? It's just an admin menu.
adelphiaUK 4 Posted June 6, 2018 Author Posted June 6, 2018 Check out the cover art plugin. Thanks, forgot about this! Eventually the paging will be gone in favor of infinite scrolling. OK, I'll wait on that one Why? It's just an admin menu. I know, but I'm not interested in seeing a long list of recent activity, latest news and paths every time I go into the admin dashboard. I'd rather see things like: stats on movies (how many are in my library, how many times a movie has been watched etc) so I can easily decide if a movie is worth keeping / removing (or archiving) what scheduled tasks are due / running etc. other things which are relevant to now rather than in the past; after all, isn't that what logs are for?

Check out the Statistics plugin and the Playback Reporting plugins. I understand what you are envisioning and it reminds me of the widgets available in software such as Sophos XG and pfSense.

That's one of the places I got the idea from, pfSense, along with other sites where you can decide what you do and don't see. I'll check out the plugins you suggest but I presume you can't make them display on the dashboard?
Diedrich 377 Posted June 6, 2018 Posted June 6, 2018 I'll check out the plugins you suggest but I presume you can't make them display on the dashboard? Not per se, but you will have admin menu items that will take you directly to the plugin statistics graphs, etc.
