Recorded TV show images/icons

Hi, relatively new to Emby, but have all working well with the premium service and Schedules direct for my TV guide information.  I also use MCEbuddy for commercial removal, all is working great.

 

Only issue is that the recorded shows (actually the recorded ones after MCEBuddy removes the commercials) do not always show an TV image or Icon, but on some just a blank or colored block.  As said it works for some shows but not others. 

 

In Schedules Direct there are a massive number of apparently "add on" programs, not sure how all that works, but some may be for the issue I have, but so far have not been able to resolve.  Any suggestions?

Hi, are you saying they have an image in the guide before recording, but not after?

I see what you are saying.  After MCEbuddy converts I have it delete the ordinal file, but I see there is a folder left with a jpeg image in it, so that is the problem, is there a solution when using MCEbuddy (which I know is not yours)?

Once the new file gets scanned in by emby server it should create a thumbnail as long as you have the screen grabber image provider enabled for your recordings library, which it is be default.

You could try refreshing that title manually. Once in a while the screen grabber will fail for certain video files.
