Just a little topic on the Live TV Feature of Emby.

 

 

While I had been using M3u files for Live TV, this wasnt really up to scratch for any decent viewing. So I decided on getting and old DVB tv card.

 

 

Anyways, got a Hauppauge WinTV Nova DT PCI card from ebay for a tenner. So bargain there. Installed software, added tuner to Emby which went straight through easy setup. Then I maped the channels with XMLTv Guide and Bingo.  Couldnt have been easier.

 

 

Recording works great, viewing live tv on devices works great.

 

So for a cheap DVr recorder, tenner on ebay, emby premiere and record all your shows straight to library.
