Is it legal to host digital copy of movie you owned on Emby Server. It will be streaming on iPads you owned as complementary service for customers who visit your shop?

You need a PRS music license to play music in a shop, even if you own the music, so I would presume you would need an equivalent non-cinema video license in that case?

Commercial display is very different than private display. For commercial display (aka ina shop), you need a license.

I had spoken to the representative in Singapore, it cost around 800++ SGD per year for 8 devices. Does the digital copy from amazon works on Emby Server?

Wow thats not cheap at all at roughly 598$ per year.

That's a whole lot less than I was expecting. If you are using for commercial purposes, that's not such a bad deal.

I'm not positive what the format is but I'm sure it will - as long as it isn't copy protected in some way.
