imadork8317 1 Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 I am trying to like MB3 but some things are just not intuitive. I added my TV show folder and MB scanned it but some shows were not added or were added incorrectly, some have a nice little identify button which lets me change it (most of the time anyways, but that will be another post) Below is my screenshot, of the TV show i want to change, can someone please tell me how to change it to the correct data? What am i missing? Dont say refresh cause that doesn't help.
Luke 42078 Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 since the identify button isn't there, it means we didn't recognize the folder structure as a tv series. so if you could post screenshots of the series folder that would be a good start.
imadork8317 1 Posted March 29, 2014 Author Posted March 29, 2014 Ok maybe i was impatient, it now has the correct data. How should the folder structure be?
Luke 42078 Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 when you setup the media folder in your library, did you use the tv shows type?
imadork8317 1 Posted March 29, 2014 Author Posted March 29, 2014 that folder structure looks fine. I changed it, before some episodes each had their own folder, maybe that threw it off?
imadork8317 1 Posted March 29, 2014 Author Posted March 29, 2014 maybe Thanks for the quick help Luke!
Starlionblue 82 Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 IMHO the "safest" way for a TV show to be correctly identified as a TV show is for every season to be in a subfolder entitled "Season x", e.g. "Season 1", "Season 2". Specials go in "Season 0".
