GrimReaper 4739 Posted October 21, 2025 Posted October 21, 2025 Are your audio tracks properly tagged with language tags? If you select German as preferred audio language, clear saved track selection and play an episode with English audio selected, does it carry over to the next one?
chstoll 2 Posted October 21, 2025 Posted October 21, 2025 Emby recognizes the languages correctly, so I think the language tags should be ok: I've select German as preferred audio language, cleared all track selections, played the first episode of a show, switched to english, skipped to the next episode but the next episode starts in German again. So this didn't work.

chstoll 2 Posted October 22, 2025 Posted October 22, 2025 I tried several shows, It doesn't work on a single show. It doesn't work if I skip to the next episode, and it doesn't work if it resumes to the next episode automatically on the end of the actual episode.
GrimReaper 4739 Posted October 22, 2025 Posted October 22, 2025 I honestly don't know why it ain't working for you, I simply cannot reproduce: tested 5-6 shows with few episodes each trying to find a single instance where it doesn't work - I just couldn't. Whether direct played or transcoded, whether skipping to next episode or auto playing next - whatever audio track wad last selected it'd carry forward. Maybe the Dev will have some other idea. @Luke
