shadymg 0 Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 Can someone let me know what the default syntax is for the season folder pattern? I changed mine and can't get it back to doing what it used to. Thanks in advance.
shadymg 0 Posted March 28, 2014 Author Posted March 28, 2014 (edited) hrmm...okay, weird. So that's what i have and it's not working. My problem is the file is getting detected and auto-organized but, then when it goes in the folder it's being renamed as a file with just the series name without any extension. So for example, From.Dusk.till.Dawn.S01E02.HDTV.mp4 gets moved into my folder \From Dusk Till Dawn\Season 1\ but the file is called "From Dusk till Dawn" without anything else Thoughts? Thanks! shadymg 0 Posted March 28, 2014 Author Posted March 28, 2014 sorry, that was a typo. It's an MP4 or avi file
AdrianW 1058 Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 Shouldn't the season/episode identifier be S01E02 instead of S0102 - perhaps that's confusing the organizer.
shadymg 0 Posted March 28, 2014 Author Posted March 28, 2014 i'm not at my HTPC, so i apologize for not knowing the exact naming of the file, but i'm 99% sure the file naming is proper (edited above)
Luke 42078 Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 well it shouldn't be matching rar files at all
shadymg 0 Posted March 29, 2014 Author Posted March 29, 2014 (edited) okay, so here's exactly what it says in my logs: Thursday, March 27, 2014 from.dusk.till.dawn.s01e02.hdtv.x264-qcf.mp4 D:\Videos\From.Dusk.till.Dawn\Series 1\From Dusk Till Dawn So the mp4 is the file that's in my watch folder, and it's being moved into the proper spot, the Series 1 folder, but it's being called "From Dusk Till Dawn" -- no episode number, no extension!!! I just realized what's going on. I need the default for "EPISODE FILE PATTERN" not the series! I was mucking around with it and clearly messed it up. %sn....then what else? Thanks! SOLVED: Episode pattern: %sn - %sx%0e - %en.%ext Please lock thread, thanks! Edited March 29, 2014 by shadymg
Luke 42078 Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 We do need a restore defaults button there for situations like this. In the future, trust us. we're pretty good at picking defaults that work for everyone
Koleckai Silvestri 1154 Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Glad you that you resolved the issue.
