hasown 3 Posted May 26, 2018 Posted May 26, 2018 I have my Futurama collection set to use DVD order. The trakt plugin is not properly mapping watched status from Trakt, which uses broadcast order, to my library, which is using DVD order. Example: I have watched all of Futurama Season 1 and 2 on trakt. The broadcast season 1 only has 9 episodes on trakt, while the DVD season 1 in my library has 13 episodes. Only the first 9 episodes show as watched in my Emby library. The last 4 episodes show as unwatched, even though they should be set to watched. Those episodes are the last 4 in Season 1 according to dvd order, and the first 4 in season 2 according to broadcast order. On the trakt site they are marked as watched (in broadcast season 2), but in Emby they are marked as unwatched (in DVD season 1).
Luke 42081 Posted May 27, 2018 Posted May 27, 2018 This doesn't have an easy solution right now because we don't store the original episode numbers in the database and it sounds like that's what trakt wants. My suggestion is to go through each episode and make sure it has an imdb id filled in. If I recall correctly the plug-in will use that when available.
hasown 3 Posted May 27, 2018 Author Posted May 27, 2018 Each episode does have an iMDB ID filled in, but the trakt plugin still isn't pulling the sync status from the website properly. It seems to just be using episode number. On the trakt website I have broadcast episode 5x03 marked as watched. In my Emby library DVD episode 5x03 is marked as watched, even though that is incorrect. Are there any plans to add the broadcast episode numbers to the database? It seems like this bug can't be fixed without it for shows without iMDB IDs, and it would help resolve this episode image bug from my other thread.

hasown 3 Posted January 25, 2020 Author Posted January 25, 2020 (edited) @@hasown @@vdatanet Are you still able to reproduce this? Partially. It still happens when syncing from Trakt to Emby. The reverse works. Just tested with Emby Server 4.3.1.0 and Trakt plugin 3.4.2.0. Process for reproduction (Trakt to Emby): 1. Firefly TV series is added as a DVD order season in Emby. 2. On trakt website, marked broadcast episode 1x2: Bushwhacked as watched. 3. Synced to Emby using "Import playstates from Trakt.tv" scheduled task. 4. In Emby, DVD episode 1x2: The Train Job is marked as watched. DVD episode 1x3: Bushwhacked is still listed as unwatched. Reverse worked: 1. Firefly TV series is added as a DVD order season in Emby. 2. In Emby, marked DVD episode 1x4: Shindig as watched. 3. On Trakt website, broadcast episode 1x6: Shindig is correctly marked as watched. Separately, the related issue I linked above is also still present. I will update that thread. Edited January 25, 2020 by hasown
