User control changes?

Hi, since the last update i can't pause/resume or stop the streams of any user from the dashboard (it was right next to the send message button, this one hasn't changed), i don't know if now there is any option related to this.

Any ideas of what could it be?

 

Running version 3.4 on Docker.

Hi.  Does your user have the "Allow remote control of other users" permission selected?

Yeah, It's the admin user with wich i do all the important stuff.

Have you updated to 3.4.1?

I did update it (i'm using binhex image), but when i restarted the container it still appeared as version 3.4.0, so i don't know if i did something wrong, because when i pull it again it says that i got the latest version.

I've already posted on the unraid forums waiting for an answer.

Will update this when i solve that, than for the help.

Ok, they've told me that i actually have the version 3.4.1 here the answet from the forum:

"i can confirm too that its reporting 3.4.0 in the dashboard and log. i have reported this on AUR and they have traced it back to a bad tag from the Emby Dev Team,

so it looks like this is 3.4.1 its just somebody forgot to increment the tag version, in short its a cosmetic bug, you can ignore it"

 

So, I'm out of ideas again.

If you install using the instructions on our website it will be tagged correctly. Thanks.

Ok, but i don't mind the tag, the original problem is still there.

It is still difficult to troubleshoot these unofficial releases because there are dependency libraries that have to be included that could affect this sort of thing, and we have no idea what versions they are using, and if the combinations of library versions is something we've even tested or not. Have you tried our official package?

I understand, i was thinking about switching to yours actually, but i think that i can't switch and keep my guests (family) invited to the "new" one, something like keeping the same name and "identification". If not, next time i see them i'll explain again how to access the new one.
