antrtic 0 Posted May 25, 2018 Posted May 25, 2018 Hi, Videos are not playing back at all or they are totally jerky with long pauses in between short bursts of video playback. Everything works fine on the server computer, this is only on other laptops in the network (in the house). It appears from the logs I am getting a bitrate exceeds limit type of error... how do I fix this? (It used to work ok, but now I have this issue). It tries to open the video but then usually ends in a "ffmpeg.exe has stopped working" on the server machine. I have attached the server log and ffmpeg.exe logs for two attempts to play a (gopro) video. Thank you. embyserver.txt ffmpeg-transcode-d6313947-411e-4afc-9576-2ea272ba5fbf.txt ffmpeg-transcode-e7c432d5-d19e-410d-bce4-532be8d77a1d.txt
Guest asrequested Posted May 25, 2018 Posted May 25, 2018 If it's transcoding due to bitrate, that implies a network issue. The jerkiness is likely due not being able to transcode quickly enough. Take a look at your network.
