Not all have images in Emby Recording widget

Because there is no PVR client (yet) for Emby in Kodi. I have set several items in Kodi based on the Recording library of Emby.

 

When there are recordings going on with Emby I see those recordings as expected in the Kodi widget but not all of them have a thumbnail image visible there.

The strange thing is that those recordings have a -thumb.jpg in the recording folder and that image is used for showing up in the Kodi widget for new added TV Show episodes.

 

Also a link to the Emby Recordings in the Kodi submenu has the same issue as the recordings widget.

 

Why is this and aren't all images there as in the TV show widget for new added episodes.

 

 

 

 

Second thing is that when I want to watch a recording in Kodi while recording I open the recording and instead seeing the episode I first see a season folder. I have to click on the season folder before I see the recording itself. I do not have this with the recordings that are finisht and sorted because I have set this in the Kodi settings.

Why do I see a season folder in those recordings when I want to watch them while recording?

But in one widget there is a thumb image visible and the other not. If it is in both I get there is no image available but now not so much.

Both showing the same same tv shows.

This problem is solved when I chose for the link to recordings tv shows - recently added episodes instead of recordings.

 

Not for the unnecessary season folder I have to click to get to the recording.
