Made a copy of /usr/lib/emby-server/bin/ but putting old files back does not help

The fault was permissions on new files.. solved and fixed now.

Have now updated to emby 3.4.0.0. where can i find emby 3.4.1.0?

Posted

After upgrading to 3.4.0.0 i still have issue with that series i cant see :(

Posted

Can you show us the folder structure for that series?

Posted

What if you rename the season 1 folder to just "Season 1" and then run a scan?

Posted

After i renamed the sesons it went from 173 available episodes to 58.

But i still only can see the first seson

do you have an nfo file inside the season folders?

Posted

Yes there is an nfo for each episode

Posted

Is there a season nfo file?

Posted

Do the season nfo files have the correct season numbers inside?

Posted

That is a series nfo, what about the season nfo files?

Posted

Ok we don't support those nfo's. Those are not valid nfo contents. Here is an example of a supported nfo file:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" standalone="yes"?>
<episodedetails>
  <plot>Liz Lemon is called upstairs to meet the new network exec, Jack Donaghy, who instructs her to hire movie star Tracy Jordan to draw a young male audience to 'The Girlie Show'.</plot>

Hi @@Koml, what are you trying to accomplish?

Posted

What was the problem was that just some of the seasons in one series did not show up.

dont really know how i fixed it but after i changed the folder name for the seasons that did not show up it just showed.

cant really explanin the problem nnow that it mysterius works.

another out of the topic question.

If i run

Debian X64
  1. Download emby-server-deb_3.5.2.0_amd64.deb
  2. dpkg -i emby-server-deb_3.5.2.0_amd64.deb

will this upgrade emby-server or do i have to do it manually from now on?

thanks

To update to newer versions you just follow the same install process from the website again. Thanks.
