Is there a way i can set a wait time, after the server is resume, bevor the task is starting ?

 

So for my example. Someone in the morning the system is starting to search for windows updates, so i f this is happend, a windows taks is starting my epg grabber, after this he updates my tv server software with the new epg. then he goes off again. I will try to restart the server not so often, only when he should take a record or the windows update, what i cant deactivate.

 

So at the evening at 19:50 the tv server wakes up the server for check recordings, after this at 20 pm i have set the first taks start for a plugin that refresh the epg. At 20:15 pm the next task start is on the plan search for missed episodes in the epg and create a timer.

 

So when i understand this thread right, i can set an interval, and when the interval is missing, he starts the task after wakeup, my problem is now, when he start the missing task's he start refresh guide and autosearch for missing episodes, this should start after the guide is refreshed.

 

So is there a way i can set a wait timer after wakeup ?

 

Or better, is there a way i can start some actions over commands with the windows task planer ? So i can start it for the right time, when the server is no online, he starts after the resume, and there i can also set a wait time after wakeup.

 

or you can implement this features in your server to ?

 

I dont want to let this do to a strict time, because i will prevent the server starts to often from the standby, to secure the HW a bit. I hope you understand my problem !

Hm ok, i have tried it a little bit different.

 

My Live TV Server starts at 19:50 for the Timer goes until 20:13 so he have enough time to update the new epg and create timer for missing episodes.

So the task for the epg update will Start every full hour, 20 PM, the server is running, but the task did not start. Normaly he needs some minutes to update the epg, after this the next task should start at 20:15, this is the second task how will not start. I have some screens for you and the log, maybe someone can tell me, what im doing wrong, for this to times, 20:00 and 20:15 the server is running. So the task should run or not ?

 

You can see on the first screen, the last run was yesterday. But it should run today at 20 pm.

So since a view Days there was an Server Update, but it will not work. The Last Task run was 2 days ago. So why it will not work, when the task should run at 19 / 20 / 21 / 22 / 23

In this time space the server is running. I hope you can fix this, that it work automaticly. For now i have to run this task's every day per hand.
