ng4ever 40 Posted May 21, 2018 Posted May 21, 2018 The system tray icon is not appearing but when I go to task manager Emby service is there. Just saying that Plex works a lot better and easily on a limited windows user account.

jachin99 88 Posted December 31, 2018 Posted December 31, 2018 I also have had issues installing emby on a standard account. I remember having to change the account to admin or even uninstall and reinstall the server. This was on 3.5 I believe. I never got around to asking about it but the op sounds exactly my issue. I just uni stalled emby server, elevated the account type and reinstalled it.
