superloopy 1 Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 Just wondering ... can metadata be stored 'elsewhere' on the server or MUST it be stored within individual movie folders? Strange question I know but i'd prefer to keep local metadata 'local' and 'internet' metadata separate. Possible? If so, how?
Luke 42078 Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 the startup wizard asked you about this. the setting is also in the metadata section
superloopy 1 Posted March 27, 2014 Author Posted March 27, 2014 (edited) Luke ... i cant remember that far back! So .. it is possible, yes? Where is the metadata stored if not with the movie folder? And how can i delete existing 'internet' metadata to force a rescan which will then populate away from my movie folders? Are there any downsides at all? Edited March 27, 2014 by superloopy
superloopy 1 Posted March 27, 2014 Author Posted March 27, 2014 (edited) Thanks Luke ... i've managed to sort out the 'how and where' .... just need to know if there's any quick way of unscrapng the internet data from my movie folders in readiness for repopulating the server side? Luke 42078 Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 No currently there is no migration. Changing the setting only affects new downloads. you'd have to manually delete what was downloaded then refresh those items
